In short, Loft Centre do not fit loft ladders. We stock and supply a range of different loft ladders and stairs, and endeavour to send items on the same working day (stock dependent) if ordered before 11:00am (Monday to Friday) for a next working day delivery. Or if ordered after 11:00am (Monday to Friday) the product(s) would be despatched the following day for delivery the day after. Once the item is signed over to you by the carrier, we no longer hold responsibility for this item, and so it must be installed by either yourself or a sole trader/company. As part of a loft conversion quote, permanent loft stairs may be installed if this was specified as part of the work.

It’s not recommended that you try to install large or heavy loft ladder by yourself unless you’re experienced in this type of DIY, as you may be working at a height and there is a chance of falling or having the ladder fall on you. It’s better to get someone in that is versed in how to install loft ladders and stairs, especially if there are many different components including loft hatches or whether it’s a semi automatic electric loft ladder which needs a power source.
