The Civik Painted staircase is manufactured in powder coated steel in three different colours: Black (RAL 9017), white (RAL 9010), or grey (RAL 9006). The handrail, in aluminum and polyurethane, is black. The treads are covered with black panels, made of hard-wearing, non-slip material.
This kit - staircase is supplied with a universal landing to allow installation into ceiling openings of any shape and size. The winding direction clockwise or anti-clockwise may be decided at the point of assembly.
Civik Technical Infomation
The Civik Spiral Kit has an adjustable height between 2520mm and 3050mm. It is able to reach a maximum height of 3760mm with the use of additional Tread kits
(illustrated in the diagram below).
The Civik is available in 3 diameters which are 1200, 1400 and 1600mm, your recomended ceiling aperture should be at least 50mm larger than the diameter of the staircase.
E.g : Ø Staircase 1200mm = Ø aperture 1250mm.
If two or more Tread kits have been applied to the Staircase then it will be necessary to purchase the supplementary Handrail item. This is required so the climbing balustrade can be extended to reach the landing floor.
We can also provide a Balustrade kit which can be used on the upper floor to protect the aperture. It comes in a 1200mm length comprising of 10 balusters, handrails and fixings. The Balustrade kit can also be adapted to form a circular design.
If you require the Civik Spiral Stair to comply with current Building Regs (except 1200mm diameter - see note below). We can provide Riser Bar kits. A Riser Bar is fitted to each tread of the Civik so it conforms to the 100mm gap rule (distance between the treads not exceeding 100mm).
N.B. The Civik 1200mm diameter Spiral Stair does not comply with current Building Regs. Due to the fact that the space between each baluster exceeds 100mm. This is not the case for both the 1400mm & 1600mm Civik models.
