The Blackjack Squarestair presents the ultimate in style, versatility and economy of space. Ideal for loft conversions or wherever a compact stair is needed. The ingenious design optimises the area available and ensures clear and safe access to your loft space. With it's simple and clean design the Blackjack can complement both a classic and contemporary setting.

 
  • Minimum space needed for stairwell 1200mm square (47")
  • Four standard sizes: 1200mm, 1400mm, 1600mm, 1800mm
  • Square plan makes more efficient use of space than round spiral
  • Unbeatable for use against wall, corner or alcove
  • May be assembled clockwise or anti-clockwise
  • Simple self assembly for D.I.Y. or professional installation
  • Sliding tread brackets adjust for height on assembly, eliminating problems often found when specifying made to measure stairs
  • Top quality black or white finish powder coated steelwork as standard
  • Quality pine treads as standard
  • Optional balustrading to open sides and landings to comply with 100mm rule
    (Building Regulations)
  • Includes choice of landing tread position
  • Landing tread may be finished flush with floor or one rise down
    if headroom is restricted
  • Start and finish at any one of the 16 tread positions according to desired layout
 
HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
 
Rises may be varied on assembly, typically between 170mm and 220mm
Eg. 13 treads may be used for a landing tread height between
(13 x 170mm) = 2210mm
Or
(13 x 220mm) = 2860mm
This gives the Blackjack excellent versatility of design.

 

WHAT IS THE NEXT STAGE?

In order for us to establish the specification of your Blackjack and provide a Quote the following information is required -

  • A Floor to Floor Height
  • Choice of Stair Diameter (1200, 1400, 1600 & 1800mm)
  • A simple sketch showing the configuration of the treads similar to those in the Example Layouts below
  • Landing tread preference (see Landing Examples below)
