Over recent years the DSC range of heavy-duty concertina ladders have become an integral part of Loft Centre’s commercial range. The
DSC Elektro combines the DSC ladder with its heavy-duty, robust, aluminium alloy construction, along with the manufacturers’ expert automated operating system controlled by push-button.
The DSC Elektro loft ladder stores completely within the hatch space. Supplied with a 24 Volt power supply, low noise operation and comes complete with an emergency power backup. The electrical operation of both the trapdoor & loft ladder is controlled by push-button. Fitted with an automatic stopping feature which enables the unit to avoid obstacles in it's path once in operation. Emergency opening and manual operation are also possible. The Concertina loft ladder is manufactured in die-cast aluminium. Ladder tread width: 300mm (Standard sizes). Ladder tread depth: 140mm. Larger tread widths available up to 580mm (dependent on opening width dimension). The draught proofed timber hatchbox supplied is constructed from 19mm plywood and measures 240mm deep. Optional Remote Control operation available (prices for Standard units below ). Optional Telescopic Handrails are available for the unit (prices below ). Optional Trapdoor Insulation available for the unit (prices for Standard units below ). Tested to EN 14975 (European Ladder Standard) with a 200kg per tread resilience. Made to Measure sizes are available (Prices on application ) - N.B. Larger ceiling heights will require a more generous opening size.
