Timberlex Fitting Instructions

The DTL 'Timberlex' Timber Folding Loft Ladder offers a fantastic space saving loft access option suitable for domestic and commercial applications alike. The unit is able to fit into the tightest of apertures, including in between trussed rafters, and has the advantages of a low storage configuration.

  • Supplied complete with a new white faced hatch, lining and ladder for quick and easy installation.
  • No storage space needed in the loft as ladder stores completely on hatch.
  • Draught proofed and 70mm deep insulation to trapdoor.
  • Hidden trapdoor hinges are an added feature and make it easier to paint, varnish or stain the trapdoor.
  • Operating pole included.
  • Beech ladder provided, folding into 3 sections, with 83mm deep non-slip treads and plastic feet for extra stability.
  • Optional Metal Handrails (red colour) available (prices below).
  • Tested and certified to EN 14975 (European Ladder Standard).
  • Max working load: 150 kg.
